Urban Decadence

Dilapidated, crumbling, pealing, broken. . . . .beautiful. Old decaying buildings have always fascinated me both in terms of their dying aesthetic and their social history. Walking around my home city of Leicester I have started to enjoy buildings that have been so vandalized in their degeneration that they in themselves are like works of art. Others, sit in startling juxtaposition to newer buildings around them. All have started to be reclaimed by the wilds of nature.
